Postcodes with the Most Sales
We thought we'd look at which postcodes have seen the most sales since 1995 and here's the top 5....
- YO10 3FT - Lawrence Street, York
- TR8 4LX - Atlantic Reach, Cornwall
- E14 9GU - Marsh Wall, London
- M5 3WH - Ordsall Lane, Salford
- CF10 3FH - Park Place, Cardiff
With 465 sales (up to August 2026), Lawrence Street in York tops the list. If you look at the map and page, it's pretty obvious why - it's a major street in York and has a large private student accomodation on 6 six acres of land.
With 372 sales, Atlantic Reach holiday resort in Cornwall is 2nd. Obviously a major hub for Furnished Holiday Let properties and with a golf course nearby you'd imagine keen golfers would be amongst some of the buyers.
At 3rd spot with 355 sales, is Marsh Wall - E14-9GU in London. Hosting mutiple high rise apartment blocks and situated right near Canary Wharf you can see why sales have been rapid.
At 4th spot with 339 sales, is M5 3WH - Ordsall Lane in Salford. Most of the sales are from apartments at the recently built Bridgewater Wharf which had a flurry of sales in 2021.
And at 5th spot with 338 sales, is CF10 3FH. Again, like Lawrence Street this is a PBSA (Purpose-Built Student Accommodation) in Park Place, Cardiff.
